I began collecting receipts in January of 2009. I kept them after movies, after grocery store trips, after museum visits, after meals - every time I made a debit card or credit card purchase. Through the receipts I was able to track my progress not only throughout the city of Boston, where I attend school, but also during my visits back home to Pittsburgh, and elsewhere. Every pin represents a location in the city on the map, and the color of the thread indicates which month the location was visited.
